Sample: Financial Report (Conn. PC-246 style)Estate of Eleanor M. Doe

A made-up estate, a real format. Every figure below is produced by the ledger from ordinary entries — a house sold at a gain, dividends, the funeral bill, two distributions — and it balances to the penny. Yours would look like this, with your numbers.

Type or print the form in ink. 3. Attach supporting schedules if necessary to provide additional details or explanatory notes. 4. The fiduciary shall send a copy of this financial report to each party and attorney. 5. For further information, see the Probate Court Rules of Procedure, sections 37.1 and 37.4.

The ledger doesn’t split administration expenses into the form’s sub-lines — its whole administration total sits on “Other expenses” with the itemized schedule below; move amounts onto the specific sub-lines when transcribing. The PC-237 claims line shows the ledger’s own debts-and-claims total, $3,423.30, so the column foots — but only your filed PC-237 return governs that figure, so replace it with the return’s number when transcribing if the two differ. The form’s tax lines split by jurisdiction (Town property tax; State of Connecticut income and estate tax; Internal Revenue Service income and estate tax) — allocate the taxes total accordingly.
